Bee Keychain

Here's a cute little bee amigurumi keychain. It's quick and easy to make. Hang it on your keys, purse, backpack or anywhere you'd like!


Pattern:

Materials:

  • Yarn: [weight: medium (4) 100% acrylic] (any comparable yarn will work just as well):

    • Yellow

    • Black

    • White

  • Hook: 2.50 mm

  • Polyester fiberfill

  • Scissors

  • Tapestry needle

  • Small safety eyes

  • Stitch marker

  • Keychain supplies

Key:

  • R - row/round

  • MR - magic ring

  • sc - single crochet

  • inc - increase

  • dec - decrease

  • FO - finish off

Notes:

Pattern is worked in continuous rounds.

Pattern written in U.S. terminology.

I place my marker on the last stitch of the round.

Bee

R1: With yellow, MR6

R2: inc - 12

R3: 1 sc, inc - 18

R4: 2 sc, inc - 24

R5: 24 sc

R6-8: With black, 24 sc. Add safety eyes between R2-3.

R9-11: With yellow, 24 sc

R12: With black, 24 sc

R13: 2 sc, dec - 18

R14: 1 sc, dec - 12. Stuff bee here.

R15: dec and FO.


Wings (2)

R1: With white, MR6

R2: inc - 12

R3: 1 sc, inc - 18

R4: 18 sc

R5: 1 sc, dec - 12

R6: dec - 6,

Flatten edges, 2 sc, FO.


Attach wings to back, add keychain accessories.
